SHOP GALLERY 97 TURENNE
Historically known as the street of wholesalers, Rue de Turenne has evolved over the years into an iconic and essential street in the “Bretagne – Vieille du Temple – Place des Vosges” area, at the heart of the Marais. Running north-south from Rue de Bretagne to Place des Vosges, it connects the Marais to the Upper Marais. Its galleries (Galerie Perrotin, Galerie Franck Elbaz…), showrooms, pop-ups, and home decor offerings (including eight stores such as Cassina and Farrow and Ball) make it a significant thoroughfare, constantly renewed and attracting a large clientele.
It is a central point for locals, weekend strollers, and a loyal international clientele.
This boutique-gallery is located at the strategic intersection of Rue de Turenne, Rue de Poitou, Rue du Pont-aux-Choux, and Rue Commines/Oberkampf—a key passage for residents of the 11th arrondissement, Saint-Sébastien metro users, and Boulevard Beaumarchais visitors (Merci, Soeur, APC, Ami, etc.), who enter the Marais through Rue du Pont-aux-Choux and Rue Commines.
This historic neighborhood store once housed clothing wholesalers before its acquisition and renovation in 2013 by Galerie À Demain, specializing in 20th-century design.
With 120 sq. m on two levels, situated on a corner in front of a traffic light, it features a large 2.7-meter showcase and a wide 1.9-meter double door on Rue de Turenne, along with two windows on Rue de Poitou (2.7 meters and 2 meters).
The space consists of a bright 60 sq. m ground floor with a ceiling height of 3.6 meters, complemented by a small water area (restroom, sink, refrigerator, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, and kettle). The first floor includes a large 60 sq. m room with a ceiling height of 3.4 meters, illuminated by four large windows, as well as a small storage room. The space is completed by a 20 sq. m basement equipped with shelving for storage.
We offer the option to provide racks and furniture selected from the classic designs of the 20th century.
Picture rails allow for hanging numerous artworks, visuals, or other displays.
Reversible air conditioning ensures optimal comfort.
