These former stables, which housed draft horses that pulled boats along the Canal Saint-Martin in the 19th century, later became Les Fonderies du Tarn before transforming into a major packaging company. They embody a significant chapter in the industrial and commercial history of Paris’ working-class districts. The Eiffel-style metal structures support four splendid skylights, with ceiling heights ranging from three to eight meters.
